Kolkata, 17 June 2026: Servotech Siliguri Strikers strengthened their position in the Women’s Bengal T20 League points table with a close four-run win over Sobisco Smashers Malda. Rashmi NES Medinipur Wizards registered a seven-wicket victory against Kolkata Royal Tigers on Wednesday at the JU Salt Lake Stadium.
Batting first, Servotech Siliguri Strikers scored 148/5 in their 20 overs. Sneha Gupta top-scored with 40 off 44 deliveries, while skipper Jhumia Khatoon remained unbeaten on 39 off 21 balls. Mamta Kisku was the pick of the Sobisco Smashers Malda bowlers with figures of 2/24, while Priyanka Sarkar, Parama Mondal and Saika Ishaque picked up a wicket each.
Chasing 149, Sobisco Smashers Malda stayed in the game for most of the innings. Preyoshi Pandey scored 34 off 26 balls, but the chase slipped away in the 19th over when the Smashers lost three wickets. They eventually finished four runs short of the target.
Ananya Halder was the most successful bowler for Servotech Siliguri Strikers with three wickets, while Sneha Gupta, Jhumia Khatoon and Roshni Khatoon took one wicket each.
In the second match of the day, Kolkata Royal Tigers were restricted to 124/8 in their 20 overs. Priti Mondal top-scored with 47, while Ariktha Manna starred with the ball for Rashmi NES Medinipur Wizards, finishing with figures of 4/24.
In reply, Rashmi NES Medinipur Wizards chased down the target in 19.2 overs with seven wickets in hand. Ipshita Mondal remained unbeaten on 54 off 43 deliveries, while Srabani Pal scored 30. The pair added 87 runs for the third wicket to guide the Wizards home.
